1. You do not need a referral from your primary care physician.
A chiropractor has primary care provider status and has independent treatment authority similar to that of a (dental) doctor.
2. Reimbursed in supplementary package
Chiropractic care is reimbursed by all health insurance companies in the supplementary package. Reimbursement usually varies between 75% and 100% per consultation. Chiropractic care falls under alternative medicine or exercise medicine with most health insurance companies.

He is a licensed and registered chiropractor and is covered by all health insurance companies.
